Carencro is the Place to Be,
Cigar Livin is the Life for Me
JAIME OUGEL
(our shop owner) loves cigars and lives in Carencro, LA. He realized that there were no cigar shops near his home. His wife, Annie, encouraged him to do something about this! They found a location, got some help, and started bringing their vision to life. Jaime and Annie named the new cigar room after Jaime's dog, Bailey.
As fate would have it, COVID-19 pushed back the opening of Bailey's Cigar Room. The pandemic lockdown also forced Gary Cruice to give up partial ownership of another cigar shop. Voila! Jaime and Gary realized they had the same vision. May of 2020, Bailey's Cigar Room opened in Carencro, LA.
The next step was to get more help. Quinn Hebert was hired as much for his demeanor as his knowledge of pipes and pipe tobacco. Jaime, Gary, and Quinn are joined by a few part-timers. No matter which face greats you as you walk in Bailey's front door, expect a warm welcome and as much assistance as you desire. Think of Bailey's as your local pub or old country store - just with nicer furniture and cigars.
WHO'S BAILEY?
Bailey is Jaime's 12 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. She's an old girl who still has the spunk and energy of a pup. She's by his side for most of his smokes. Bailey even makes visits to the shop - just to check on us and hang out a bit. While Bailey isn't a cigar smoker herself, she is as loyal and welcoming as any best friend. Stop in one day and meet her, or get a selfie with her portrait.
