Smoking a Pipe as a Heartfelt Tribute for Grandparents Day

Today is Grandparents Day! Many of us have fond memories of a grandparent or parent smoking a pipe. This makes for a good reason to make one of our infrequent pipe smoking posts. If you read no further, check out this article in Boondock Ramblings.
Most of us think of pipe smoking as purely an old man endeavor. Gary has clear memories of his Great Grandmother smoking a corn cob pipe. Something she started at the age of 13 and carried on until her death. One cousin gave her a new corn cob pipe every Christmas! Today, many of our pipe newbies are younger - male and female.
If you haven't met our new Pipe Guy yet - say hello to Nick next time you come in Bailey's. Nick won't get to celebrate Grandparents Day himself (not a grandparent), but he can help you pick a pipe from our selection of Missouri Meerschaum cobs and hardwoods. We also carry a selection of basket pipes from Italy and Bulgaria, as well as some Brigham Pipes. Bailey's also sells a variety of pipe tobacco and accessories. Yes, we have some house blends!
If reading is more your style, check out this article from Missouri Meerschaum. When you visit their website, see if there is something you like that we don't normally carry. We can probably order it for you (at about the same price as their website, but no shipping)!
Whether you smoke a pipe or a premium cigar, light something up in honor of Grandparents Day!
