A Celebration of Music and Craft at the Acadiana Cigar Box Guitar Festival

Come out to Gator Cove Saturday September 20th from 10AM to 6PM! Our vendors include Bayou Cigar Box Guitars and Kirk Dupre selling their creations. Bailey's will be selling premium cigars. Best Darn Cajun Tour will have purses made from cigar boxes, while Cajun Custom Cups will have their cigar band. Planet Pluto is bringing both music and cigar themed items!

While you are doing some shopping, you can meet a couple of local authors! Daylon McCoy, the author of The AMPD Athlete and Russel Gibson with his new book of poetry (Barstool Solitude) will be on hand. Come meet the authors and get a signed copy!

We'll have music throughout the day, so bring a chair! Matt Teilkemeier (local blues & rock impresario) will host a Jam Session from Noon-3PM! Bring your instruments and join the band. Then a new Local band, The Adolescents, will perform from 3-5PM! More performers will be announced during the week.

No festival is complete without refreshments! The Wildcat Brothers Tasting Room will be open and you can get a Distillery tour. Heroes on the Water Lafayette, a Veterans assistance group, will be selling red beans and rice donated by JB's Cruisin Cuisine! They'll also be selling jambalya, bottled water, and soda. All proceeds from their sales go to Heroes on the Water Lafayette.
