Bailey's 2022 Premium Cigar Bestsellers

Updated: Jan 8, 2023

If you've been following us on FaceBook, you know we started counting down our best selling premium cigars from last year. If you don't follow us on FaceBook - get with it!

The picture you see should give a hint about our #1 cigar for 2022. Live in South Louisiana long enough, and you'll get stuck behind a cane truck at some point!

#5 - Villiger Cuellar Kreme Toro Gordo

The Villiger Cuellar Kreme is named after Diego Velazquez de Cuellar. The first Spaniard governor of Cuba. It is a fitting name for this mild, creamy, smooth, cigar bwith well balanced flavors and aromas. A great cigar for beginners or the occasional premium cigar smoker.

#4 - JC Newman House Handmade Sungrown Toro

Handmade in Nicaragua, these cigars are a solid smoke for an exceptional price. Maybe our best valued smoke. A medium bodied cigar at an exceptional price - from America's oldest family owned cigar manufacturer!

"There’s something about smoking a cigar that feels like a celebration. It’s like a fine wine. There’s a quality, a workmanship, a passion that goes into the smoking of a fine cigar." – Demi Moore

#3 - JC Newman Julius Caeser Toro

This cigar is part of the highly rated Diamond Crown line and is named for company founder, Julius Caeser Newman. Check out the story behind the spelling! Tobaccos from Central America, the Dominican Republic, and Ecuador combine for a consistent, robust, and flavorful experience.

#2 - Artista Cigars Fugly Cheroots

Inspired by the cowboy style cigar of the old west, this ugly-looking cigar smokes beautifully. With either a Mexican San Andres or Dominican Corojo Claro wrapper, these cigars are a delicious blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. A great cup of coffee or drive to work cigar!

#1 - Drew Estate Isla del Sol

Johnny Johnson of the Smoke n' Section dubbed these the Sugarcane Cigar. The name stuck and they've been our best seller since opening! We carry 5 different sizes and both wrappers - Sumatran and Maduro. Infused and sugar tipped - if you like sweet, this is your cigar!

If you've followed our entire Top Ten list, you may have noticed a few things. None of these cigars will break the bank - almost all of them are under $10! They range from flavored to more full bodied, and from cheroots to 6x60. We've got some changes coming in 2023, stop by to check them out. Until then, what's your favorite premium cigar from Bailey's?
