We've been adding some new premium cigars to our humidor. The second new line we brought in is Black Star Line. Albert Cisneros introduced us to owner Arik Bey. Arik was a Chicago Firefighter by trade. The idea of having a premium cigar company began in the garage of his house. Aric went to numerous cigar events to network with owners and meet people. Jonathan Drew of Drew Estates took a liking to Aric and decided to advise him on how to get into the cigar industry and ideas of who would do a blend for them. We currently carry three of Black Star Line's cigars.
Mr Fahrenheit
Rolled by Tabacalera La Isla, this medium-full-bodied premium cigar boasts a shaggy foot and Corona vitola of 6x46. The blend is a Connecticut wrapper, Dominican binder, and mix of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. Crafted with Purpose: Mr Fahrenheit is more than just a cigar; it's a commitment to giving back. A portion of the proceeds from each cigar sold goes to the Chicago firefighter charity, Ignite The Spirit.
El Milagro Sun Grown Habano
Arik didn't want to leave police officers out, so the color scheme for this premium cigar, rolled by Aganorsa Leaf, features blue and black. This cigar has a double binder and triple cap! The wrapper is Sun Grown Habano while the binders and fillers are Nicaraguan. Expect notes of almonds, cashews, cedar, and buttered toast.
Rosewood 1923
Rolled by Fabrica De Oveja Negra, the same factory behind Black Label Trading Company, this premium cigar pays homage to the victims of the Rosewood race riot in 1923. The 6x48 vitola features a Mexican San Andres wrapper, and Ecuadorian binder, with Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. Each puff is a moment of reflection!
